Zonta Clubs are dedicated to helping others. One of our service projects is bags of personal items for women in need from domestic violence, Rocky Mtn. Behavioral Group, and prison release. The bags contain various cosmetics, dental care, toiletries, washcloths and towels donated and bagged by our members.
We also helped support other community projects such as walking with Take Back the Night and the Orchard of Hope Walk for Hope.
2009 Walk for Hope

This is the first year we have participated in this event to raise funds for the Orchard of Hope. The Orchard of Hope's mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer champions and their families by providing financial and emotional support as well as offering assistance to local agencies and organizations that support cancer programs and education. We sold chances for two baskets, that members filled with great items, and raised almost $600 for the Orchard of Hope. Zonta members, their families, and friends also participated in the team activities and Zonta's team won 2nd place in the events and had a lot of fun.
